Plus a few more CA pictures. 11/12/06 - 2/09/07 Mazatlan Mexico, Carnaval 3rd largest Carnaval in the world 2/10/07 - 5/28/07 La Paz Mexico, and north into the Sea of Cortez Hot weather and warm water 5/29/07 - 8/10/07 Bahia De Los Angeles and northern Sea of Cortez Favorite cruising grounds for those that brave the summer in Mexico. 8/11/07 - 12/30/07 The Mexican Riviera . The winter cruising grounds. Tropical weather, palm trees and long sandy beaches. 1/1/08 - 7/12/08 Back in California . Avoiding hurricanes and taking care of various responsibilities. Planned a short trip, ended up remodeling a house. 7/13/08 - 5/20/09 Summer in the Sea Of Cortez: Part 2 . Traveling with our Granddaughter for a while. 5/21/09 - 1/24/10 We decided to head west across the North Pacific to Kwajalein with a short stop at Johnston Atoll. Living and Working on Kwajalein Island RTS (Reagan Test Site), run by the US Army. Earlier trips, prior to 2006 Barkely Sound 2003 We spent two weeks on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia Barkely Sound 2004 We went back for 3 weeks on the west coast of Vancouver Island San Juan Islands 2005 Shorter trip this year ( < 2 weeks), due to having used up vacation time working on the boat The PLAN Our future plans for cruising are open ended and rather flexible. We expect these to change. April 2006: Leave Seattle and start heading north. A short stop in Port Townsend for some jobs, then on to the San Juans, and Gulf Islands. Spring 2006: Inside passage, Vancouver Island, Desolation Sound, Princess Luisa Inlet.... Early Summer 2006: Alaska, inside passage mostly. Possibly as far north as Glacier bay. Mid Summer 2006: Start heading South again. West coast of Vancouver Island mid July. Late Summer 2006: Southward down Washington/Oregon/California coast. Planned stops in Coos Bay, and San Francisco. Harbor hopping down the coast from there, eventually getting to San Diego in the Fall. Winter 2006: Down to Mexico after hurricane season is over (Beginning of November). Possibly as part of Baja Ha-Ha. Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Zihuatanejo... Spring/Summer 2007: More Mexico. We will most likely hide out the summer hurricane season in the Sea of Cortez/Gulf of California. Fall/Winter 2007: Down the coast of Central America possibly all the way to Equador. Spent the season on the Mexican Riviera ( Tenacatita, Barra de Navidad, Santiago, Manzanillo) Spring 2008: West to the Galapagos, then on to the South Pacific.   Still in Mexico Summer 2008: Back to California to take care of property/visit family/avoid hurricanes. Fall/Winter 2008: Supposed to be back in Mexico, however still in California. Winter/Spring 2009: Mexico, (I am so tired of California and living in the states). Summer 2009: Back to Mazatlan, Hurricane season up in the Sea of Cortez with our Granddaughter Mysti. Later: Continue south and west. Who knows? Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia... Need to find somewhere to work (Panama? Kwajalien? New Zealand?)
